Our Objectives

Our objectives are to ensure that every government hospital will be using quality JELCO/OPTIVA I.V Catheters. To date we have achieved 70% of our goal in the following provinces: LIMPOPO, MPUMALANGA, NORTH WEST, GAUTENG, FREE STATE & KWAZULU NATAL. Aluta has managed to secure period contracts for these products.

In January 2008, a formal distribution agreement with Smiths Medical South Africa (Pty) Ltd (a world leader in the Intravenous Therapy market) was concluded.

We have now extended our product catalogue by taking on more products from the Smiths Medical product range.

Our aim is to provide all hospitals including outer lying areas with a service delivery of not more than 7-14 days from the date of order placement. Hence in March 2009, a regional office in KwaZulu Natal was opened, ensuring that our goal for service delivery within 7 days is achieved.

Our In-Service Training

Our primary function is the distribution of quality healthcare products. But we do not stop there, we make it our responsibility to train and educate end users on our products.

Our relationship with a progressive company like Smiths Medical South Africa (Pty) Ltd. ensures technical support assistance as well as the use of their experienced clinical educators.

We have been conducting workshops and training sessions in most of the hospitals that we service to ensure that the health and safety of the patient and healthcare professionals is not compromised. Therefore a great product, coupled with their skills produces good results.
