From The Managing Director
clearfix
Aluta Healthcare was established in 2007, selling a wide range
of quality medical products.
We started marketing JELCO™ to the public sector on behalf of
Smiths Medical in January 2007, and it accounted for 95% of sales
for 2007. Aluta Healthcare (Pty) Ltd then concluded a distribution
agreement with Smiths Medical SA in January 2008. The agreement
simply states that Aluta Healthcare is to market and distribute the
Medex and Portex product ranges to all hospitals in the public
sector. I would like to thank Smiths Medical South Africa (Pty) Ltd
management for showing confidence in us for entrusting us to
represent their brands in our transforming healthcare sector. I
would also like to express my gratitude for their continuous
support in making our business relationship a mutually beneficial
one. Their progressive actions have achieved and surpass the
targets set out in the Healthcare Charter. BBBEE (Broad Based Black
Economic Empowerment) is indeed a business imperative.
Aluta Healthcare is positioned as the most preferred supplier of
internationally renowned, reputable and quality brands favoured by
Medical professionals and patients, hence our motto
"enhancing the quality of life". I strongly
believe that healthcare practitioners deserve quality healthcare
infrastructure to enable the best possible treatment for patients
in our hospitals and clinics, as enshrined in our Bill of Rights as
well as our Constitution. Quality healthcare restores dignity and
self worth of any progressive and stable countries.
Aluta Healthcare employees remain a key success factor for the
future. Our Administration and Sales Force have gone through
intensive training to ensure consistent, superior service that is
expected of us throughout the value chain. Continuous Training and
Development of all our staff is our number one priority and it
allows us to maintain our competitive advantage. Our Sales and
Marketing Division under the leadership of Mr Nkosana Nxumalo is
able to face the challenges in a trying economic environment, with
more than 80% of our employees being young and energetic of which
our gender targets are met with 85% female staff compliment.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all
stakeholders, especially all our hard working employees for the
valuable contribution they have made to building and strengthening
our company. On behalf of Aluta Healthcare Management and staff, I
would like to thank and acknowledge all personnel in the Healthcare
sector (Hospitals and Medical Depots) for your unwavering support
throughout.
Together we will address the future challenges in Healthcare
Management, and all are cordially invited to supply us with advice
and suggestions on how we can improve our service levels.
Kind regards to all
Tsumbo Matambela
